In this video:
I will talk about the 3 T's to catch shrimp in Florida. Time, Temperature and Tide. You need to be looking for shrimp at night, during the day they are not active and burrow in the sand. The best time to find shrimp is during a cold front. The shrimp go on the move during a cold front. The tide is important too, you want it to be a strong moving outgoing tide. This pushes the shrimp from the grass flats, bay and river out into the ocean.
You just need to be waiting at cuts pushing water from the bay/river side into the ocean. During a strong outgoing tide many shrimp will float past you and you just need to scoop them up!
Once you have your shrimp it's time to make a shrimp cocktail. A bloody Mary in my case. I will show you how to make a bloody mary. Some people might not want to make it as spicy but I will show you how to make a spicy bloody mary!
